Labour Rate Change For CJs?

Post by artadot »

We just increased our labor rate. I answered yes to the adjusting the canned jobs etc. but the labor rate stayed at the old rate. Is there another way to do this? I am not looking forward to going through all the canned jobs and adjusting the labor.

This should update the Canned Jobs. What version are you using? Can you post clips of your new rate and where it is not updated in Canned Jobs? Remember that non-standard labor items will not change with a rate change.

If the boxes like this are selected they will not change. You will have to adjust them individually as this is what you selected when setting up the canned job.

We are using 6.5.57, non-standard labor box is not checked and I am not techy enough to figure out how to post a clip of it. is there a "how to" on that?

Think I figured it out, I was going into canned jobs to make sure the labor rate changed, upon opening the canned job it still showed the old labor rate, but once I clicked on that labor line it changed to the new rate and when adding a canned job to a w/o it changed to the new rate as well. Mystery solved. Thanks for everyone's input though.

It may have been just a display error. Reboot and see if that makes a difference.
