Export report data to excel
I've searched through the past posts but haven't found a definitive answer to whether I can export to excel. I've found a couple posts that say yes but no direction on how. Can anyone help me with this? I can't seem to find anything within SE.

We replaced the SE Export article with this one; far simpler:

Re: Export report data to excel
Thanks Ric, Tim and John. I will check these out. John I'm actually needing to run several reports to get information I need on a weekly basis for ATI. I have to enter it into my portal. Such info includes any discounts, labor sales parts sales and cost, curtain canned jobs, sublet sales and cost, billed hours, tire sales and cost and a few others that I can't quite remember just now. When I was using Enterprise I would export the appropriate report into 7 different excel sheets and run a program my son designed that would extract the need data and combine them onto one excell sheet. I'm hoping to be able to do the same.

Re: Export report data to excel
Well I ended up finding the export procedure that will work for me. Once the report was printed I hit the export icon in the upper left corner. This is where I messed up before. I didn't realize I could pick what format to export to. I was just going with the default. Once I realized I could pick excel in the drop down box everything came together. Thanks everyone for the help.

Re: Export report data to excel
Try the "Excel Data only' format... it's the cleanest export. Happy to see this worked for you...
