Canned Job issue

Ok, I did search, that is all I will say about that...

Here is my issue. We just added drums of Dexos 5w30. I entered them into inventory. I also added the number to my canned jobs. So now when I click on "LOF4" my parts box pops open so I can select the oil we are putting in. However, I can only see 9.5 lines. My Dexos oil is off the bottom of the selection chart. I also have no "slide bar" on the right side to move the options up, to see the "hidden" oil. I can click on the top line which causes a "shadow" on the radio box under "select" then I will hit the down arrow and can move the selection down and right off the bottom, as if it knows there is more, but just doesn't want me to see them.

Any ideas what the heck I am doing wrong??

I see it now and it hasn't been discussed before that I know of. Gold star on Search effort.

I'm looking at a Part Kit window that has 14 items listed; the 14th item is not fully visible. Running 1920 x 1080 here and still seeing the problem. Will ask support if they have a known story on this flaw of the box not dynamically providing enough space. In the meantime, it is still possible to arrow down to the last item and either clicking into it or using the spacebar to enter the 'x' if super tight.

In my box, like you have pictured, i only see 9.5 lines. I can't make the box bigger. So anything part the 9.5th part I can not see. Even using arrows.....

So do I get a gold badge or something for actually being a successful search user????

The box and scroll bar need to dynamically keep up with however many choices are in the selection window. Me thinks the programming is off a bit. Inquiry has been made.

um, as i hang my head in shame.......

I made a boo-boo shall we say while entering our new oil into the system. The first time I used a canned job for a LOF it automatically entered the oil I picked and a quart of the new oil. As i scratched my head on how I screwed that up i see the problem as to why I show 9.5 lines and not all of them. When entering parts into a canned job you must select the "prompt on use" button. UGH, bang head on desk, floor, bathroom door......

This being said I CAN now see 10.5 lines of the 11 oils we stock. There is enough of line 11 that the box can be checked.

Sorry for the troubles.....

I think I will go to Jamaica for a much needed vacation.

You're still a great person and this is an identified issue that support can duplicate. maybe we can tweak it once the online updater joins the party with SE 6.5.
