1991 GEO Tracker 1.6L has low idle intermittent missfire and tac dropout, check egine light stays on. Jumper wire to flash code but stays on. Can't pull code. Remove fuse to clear but stays on. has1 of those slide switches but stays on. low amp probed distr wire sig to ecm didnt have any drop outs. lab scoped coil kv lead to cap and see lots of drop out. im i looking in right direction? it also has an external igniter and a noise supressor, what to check next or over again? thanks jack

looking at low amp probe on coil input, i think it looks broken up but not confident or what would cause this, jack

spray some carb cleaner and look for an intake leak, or other vac leak.

they are lucky their problem is a low idle miss.
