I have a 2000 Windstar with a 3.8 no engine codes. It had a vacuum leak at the Vacuum Management Valve, so we replaced it with one from car quest. After we test drove it we heard the noise and verified it was coming from the VMV so I ordered one from Ford and the same thing. Any Ideas?

It's been a while but I remember dealing with a few of these through Article No.03-16-1. Another possibility is an upper intake replacement because there could be an internal vacuum leak and being amplified through the valve. Good luck.
