When was an appointment scheduled?

Post by DynaBMan »

We have been using the scheduler for a few weeks and my service manager is wondering if there is a way to determine when a specific appointment was scheduled. We may have several customers dropping off between 7:30 and 9:00 AM and he would like to be able to determine when each appointment was actually scheduled.

Hey Larry,

We don't have an explicit value tracked for appointment creation date/time. Is the concern that someone is overbooking a given time frame?

No, he just wants to make sure that if we have several scheduled appointments that are all coming in at approximately the same time, the first one scheduled is the first one to be worked on.

Ah, gotcha. Might be worth the extra couple of seconds to add to the Shop Comments if you're not using that for anything else. Then you could sort Appointments on that. For this quick example I just put in the date added:
