Hello,
I tried to call tech service but did not have a solution besides posting on the forums here.
So the issue I am having is not being able to see a report with the actual labor hours turned, without posting/closing the invoice. So it gives me a incomplete report of the labor hours turned by each tech. We have long project jobs that come in and the invoice stays opened until the car is done, while we get paid per labor line we complete during the project.
hope all this makes sense? thanks for any help as well!

I do not believe there is a report for this. If the invoice is not closed there is now ay for it to calculate it.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post.
As you know, there are a number of reports based on posted invoices. For work that is still open, there is the Current Tech Assignments report as well as some WIP reports under the Management tab.
Depending on your workflow habits, you may have work completed "hanging around" your WIP screen until the customer comes to pickup the vehicle? Best practice is to post them immediately as "charge" then use F5 Batch Payment when the customer presents payment for the work. This has the advantages of a) cleaning up your Work In Progress screen and b) letting the mgmt. reports work as intended.
Hope that helps.
