I had a case today where Manager showed no open recalls for this vehicle....
and for some reason I went to the website where I check all my non-Toyotas and....
Hmmmm. There's something not right. Can we not trust the button being dimmed as an indication that there are truly no recalls. I'm documenting this on the order. I don't need to be wrong.

Hey Ric,
It shouldn't have mattered, but just curious which vehicle you selected on decode? I chose the 4dr SR5 and do have a recall showing for it.

Re: Open Recall Not Working?
4 door crew cab selected. I switched to just 4 door and still dimmed out.

Still not working? Let me know if you have this problem with any other Toyotas in the next few days. Maybe somehow your connection to the recall service is getting blocked.

Re: Open Recall Not Working?
Will do, thanks.
Should the sub-model matter? I assumed it went by VIN.

Re: Open Recall Not Working?
Yes, it should go purely by VIN, but since I had a different experience, just looking for anything that might explain why.

I only have a subscription to Manager SE. I checked and all the vehicles that I've looked at the "OPEN RECALLS" box is grayed out. This would be a useful feature. How do I get it, or what do I need to do?

You already have it. It's included with your subscription.scgms1 wrote:I only have a subscription to Manager SE. I checked and all the vehicles that I've looked at the "OPEN RECALLS" box is grayed out. This would be a useful feature. How do I get it, or what do I need to do?
Bear in mind it only works for Toyotas at this time, and if there are no recalls the button will be dimmed.
