We've got a 03 F-350SD that the interior lights stay on sometimes. If you turn the key off the light comes on and stays on after you close the door.Sometimes when driving the door ajar light and dome light come on. Sometimes it acts normal. Any suggestions.

On those I usually just plug my scanner in and look at the door switch PID's.

Before I had the ability to scan and see the PIDs for door switches, I would let it sit till the lights timed out and turned themselves off then open the drivers door, if that is the door with the switch problem the light will not come on as the BCM is already seeing its switch as the door being open. If the light does come on, let it time out again and try a different door, at some point you should find one door that is messing up. Then replace the switch in that door....

Hope this helps any one that is in the possition of not having a scanner that does this.

Door switch rf door stuck

Glad it's repaired and thanks for posting. Great tip Liljoe on door timers. Although i've always had the scanner it's good to know a basic non scanner tip.
