We have a problem with this MKX, The traction control will intermittently start to cycle, usually on left hand turns. There are no codes in the ABS system and all wheel speed sensors appear normal on the scanner.

Need some help, there is no information on this vehicle.

We installed the Summer tires about a month ago, but the problem just happened on the weekend
Debbie said that if she turns the Traction control off the problem does not occur

This may be a faulty wheel speed sensor. You may not pick this up on the scanner due to it's update speed. There's a TSB on the FWD models for them. Is this a FWD or AWD? What scanner are you using?

It is an AWD and we are using a Varis

Ok. The AWD means the TSB does not apply, but....... I'd check the output of the sensors with a scope just to be sure. What you see on the Verus screen and what the vehicle is doing seems contradictory. Again, the throughput from the DLC is limited.

Okay thank you we will try that, we also have a guy that has a ford scanner so if we come to no conclusion maybe we should give him a call

On the Ford scanner you can select only the PIDS you want to see which greatly improves update speed. That may help.

i've found that if i keep the speed at 5mph or under i can get better readings on the scanner. the glitch may be just a "burp" and really make no sense. another tip is while the vehicle is on the life see if there is any wiggle on the wheel using the 6 and 12 position on the wheel.

another thing i do is while driving on a smooth surface will turn the wheel side to side muck like the drivers on the nascar track when they are keeping their tires warm. sometimes i'll hear a slight noise as the load changes. another "as a rule" statement is most of the time i find it's a front bearing and if there is high mileage n the vehicle i quote both bearings. i've also seen the lead from the sensor out of the clips and rubbing against the wheel or tire.........
