What to Put in "Reason" on Revision Authorization

Hello folks. Given the limited number of characters that can be entered into the "Reason" field when selling a revision, what do you commonly put in?

This morning, for example, we received authorization to replace a battery, wiper blades, air filter, and accomplish a transmission pan service. The field doesn't give me enough characters to enter all of that, even when I use abbreviations heavily. So...that's got me wondering: Why is it even there, and what am I supposed to be writing there?

There are over 30 characters available in that field; it goes beyond the visible window. In your example, I would place the following in that window: battery-wipers-air filt-trans pan. It all fits nicely.

That's all we've ever done. Simple abbreviations. Granted it would be nice to have more space.

For reason I like to use things like " found additional work needed" or " customer request". Things along those lines to just make a small note as to why I sold additional work....
