Re: MISFIRE P2308
Just a thought ... you may want to check your alternator output waveform. Sometimes imbalance in the output voltage can cause strange symptoms such as ECM failures etc.

Re: Manager SE 9.1 Job View release
Daniel - please check to see if this got toggled off: CategoryJobView.png [/quote] . Yes, that had been toggled off, so it was toggled on again and the program was restarted but the symptoms are still the same on an existing work order. But I did discover that when changing job specific category on ...

Re: Manager SE 9.1 Job View release
When attempting to apply category to a job thru the job specific category selector, the job line categories do not change to that category. I have seen how the job category changes to the canned job category when added to the job if that option is selected in the setup window. Am i understanding the...

9.0.0.2400 Feedback
Overall we are finding 9.0.0.2400 to be working well for us in our shop. One thing we noticed is on the category selection field on the order screen, we can no longer strike keys more than once to select different categories. Previously, striking the "E" key multiple times would move thru all of the...

Re: Automatic Recommendations
Thanks Ric, for taking the time to explain how this works !
I must admit, I have not been making use of this feature and will look forward to new ways to implement it.

Re: readme for 9.0.0.2400
Is it possible to change the font / boldface for the order screen separately from the WIP screen on v.9 ?
Looking at the font change menu, it would seem like that would have been the original intent since the WIP and Order lines are grouped under thier respective headings....

Re: Automatic Recommendations
Ric,
Just curious here ... are you indicating that recommendations can be added for other services besides oil changes thru ProPack or does your comment only apply to lube sticker printing and oil change appointment scheduling like we have been using LubeStickerPro for ?

Re: PO number sequence askew
I think i understand what you are explaining. In my own words: you are reserving and then releasing the sequential PO numbers for use later on and you are not doing this to confuse us, but rather an ounce of prevention to keep from duplicating PO numbers when ordering direct inside of PT or WHI. All...

Hi ricmorin,
Yes, same symptoms on other computers as well. Do you use PartsTech or NexPart MultiSeller ?

PO number sequence askew
Has anyone else noticed a strange thing happening with POs ? It seems like the numbering system is counting down instead of up. Does that mean that previous POs are being overwritten? I did a test and placed an order thru the "restock from inventory" button on the PO screen and compared before and a...

Re: Shop Option
I suppose another benefit of using an internal account to pay for the shop expenses would be that the shop vehicles could be assigned a use tax category that would be remitted separately from sales tax and would be a tidy way of tracking use taxes .... Depending on local regulations, I'd think the ...

I think the best part of the improvements is the option to print multiple invoices at a time from history - saves a significant amount of time when processing statements !

Inventory Stock Location
I am working at setting up stock locations for parts in my parts room and need a consistent way of remembering the various locations that are already stored in the system. It seems like the best way of setting this up would be to have a drop down right in the inventory item setup window similar to t...
