Yes, you can also stop the bleeding as it were when it comes to quotes. Go into Setup > Screen View and uncheck the applicable boxes.

Re: Shop Events
There isn't really a way to mass delete previous shop events. "I haven't found a way, but it would be nice if I could print a day or week schedule per technician so that I can give them a copy." —Fortunately this one should be pretty straightforward. Under Reports > Management, you'll find a Schedul...

Re: Pay Hours
Hello, Typically these values will match by default when setting the charged hours to the customer. With that said, those two values do not update each other (Actual and Pay) because to do so would defeat the purpose of efficiency tracking for most shops. They typically only vary when using the Time...

Re: Search in WIP
If I may chime in on this, we also had experienced this and other issues in the past relativer to the WIP screen. At some point, I realized that not all the stations on our network had been updated. Once all the stations were updated with the latest of Windows and the latest from Mitchell!, the pro...

Re: Auto run end of day reports
There is not currently an automatic trigger. Part of the challenge for your example of running them at midnight - we don't expect or encourage users to leave Manager SE running 24/7.

Re: Search in WIP
We've been chasing after this particular issue for a while, but cannot determine the cause, nor can we replicate this behavior. We are still looking for commonalities for those experiencing it. If you don't mind, would you chime in on the following questions: 1. Is the host computer up to date on Wi...

I'm sure it just got turned off. Here's how to get it back:
1. Right-click a column header
2. Choose Show Find Panel

Re: Manager SE 9.2 Update Video
FYI... UPDATE 9.2.0.4816 Did not fix the blank WIP screen issue. The issue still occurs and now more frequently. Also now when closing an Estimate, RO, or Invoice in WIP the WIP screen goes back to the top of the list rather than where you were at when you opened document. This issue is very frustr...

Re: Default technician for parts
I don't care for this behavior, so I'm going to record an item to change this. I just need to ensure I'm not making detrimental changes to others, so it might take a bit of time.

Re: Default technician for parts
It sets both parts and labor tech from that one value. If set to <none> on the appointment, it'll create the new EST/RO with <none> for both.

Re: Default technician for parts
Mystery liked solved. I recall you saying your shop just recently started getting into the Schedule use. That's where those come from - the Technician value on the appointment is set for both parts and labor.

Re: Default technician for parts
That's incredibly odd. Usually things like this have all-or-nothing behavior. Checking in with the support team to see if they have had other reports of this.
Are they orders you personally create, Larry? Or perhaps by another service advisor?

Re: When was an appointment scheduled?
Ah, gotcha. Might be worth the extra couple of seconds to add to the Shop Comments if you're not using that for anything else. Then you could sort Appointments on that. For this quick example I just put in the date added:

Re: When was an appointment scheduled?
Hey Larry,
We don't have an explicit value tracked for appointment creation date/time. Is the concern that someone is overbooking a given time frame?

Re: Nexpart Tires
Thanks for the additional information on this one. We're making progress I think. A followup question on this if you or the SA that placed the order recall - were those brake pads and tires ordered in the same transaction? I see from the time stamps there were at least very close, but there might be...

Probably the easiest way to get at this particular data would be to export the Detailed Inventory report to Excel, so you could sort on Category.

Re: Nexpart Tires
Hello, The tire designation is definitely something they have to set on their end. The lack of a PO and coloring is curious though. Tire or not, the PO creation and coloring process should not change in Manager. Could you provide a little more info on this? Is this through Nexpart Enhanced, or Nexpa...
